Orthodontists
Dr. Les Joffe
Dr. Leslie Joffe, BDS, DOrth, has been
in specialist orthodontic practice for over 28 years.
Les qualified as a dentist in 1970 at the University
of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and immediately
entered
general practice in the UK, working in practices in
London and St Albans. In 1974, Les returned to university
in South Africa to start a 3-year full-time postgraduate
course in orthodontics, qualifying in 1977. He then
spent a year in the USA at the Tweed Foundation and
returned to the UK in 1978, setting up a specialist
orthodontic practice in St Albans. Having worked for
8 years in mixed private and NHS practice, Les made
the transition to Harley Street and has been in full-time
private practice for the past 20 years.
Les is committed to high quality care. He undertook
his British Orthodontic Certification Boards (of which
he is a past Chairman) in 1982. This early commitment
to continuing education and audit has stayed through
his professional life - Les currently teaches orthodontic
postgraduates at the Eastman Dental Institutes , is
a past Chairman of the Orthodontic Specialist Group
of the British Orthodontic Society and is currently
Honorary Treasurer of the British Orthodontic Society..

Marinda
Originally from South-Africa, Marinda has 10 years experience in the dental/orthodontic environment. She has been working for OrthoWorld since April 2006. Marinda's aim is to progress to an Orthodontic Therapist. When not working she likes to explore new countries and cultures. Socialising with friends and braais (BBQ in English-speak) are high on her agenda. |

Laura
Laura is 24 years old and qualified as a dental technician in Italy in 2001.
Laura initially worked for three years in Italy as a technician/nurse and then for two in England as a clinical assistant/nurse. Laura joined OrthoWorld Harley Street in November 2006.
She likes play piano and go shopping with her friends.

all aspects of orthodontics. Staff use a sophisticated
computer management system, Orthotrac, which monitors
treatment programmes and processes enquires quickly
and efficiently. We are always available to answer
questions, or to chat about any problems.
However, the most important member of our team is YOU!
Your cooperation in your treatment plan is essential
for successful results. We all like to report regularly
on treatment progress. We encourage you to express your
concerns and questions, and ask parents to take an active
role in their child's orthodontic program.
